Mobile set costs low....

The Minister for Communications and Information Technology has announced the sale of the mobile handsets at a reduced price so that it will be available for the end common man. It is interesting to note that the roaming charges of the private networks viz., Airtel,Hutch and Idea, are being reduced by considering the plights of the subscribers. This is not a new one to the state-owned BSNL, that offers free roaming to its subscribers which has sprung deep in the remote areas of the country where the private operators have not penetrated. It is indeed happy to have Third Generation(3G) mobile services offered in India at a subsidisable rates. Also, the launching of the low cost handsets of the Motorola at an astonishing starting price of Rs.1700/- has made a right ignition for a very good expectable venture adhered to by the DoT that the mobile telephony in the country be increased to 250million customers by the year 2007. Let the mobile technology rule the world, ruled upon by man.....;)

Boeing zooooommssssssss past India......

It has been planned by the Board of Air India to have 50 Boeing aircrafts bought by the air service operator in order to be competitive among the private air service operators. It is expected to be approved by the central government soon and the delivery of the aircrafts will be made soon. Due to the government's approval of private airlines to extend their service internationally, the government-owned airlines are making their service more attractive to their customers for a long-lasting patronage. As far as this is concerned, we can expect a new era of airlines services that befall on the customers that can be a cost-conscious and also an interesting flight journey that zooms past not oly in domestic but also international sectors at a competitive costs.

The Indo-Pak meet

Its very interesting to note that the speeches delivered by the heads of both India and Pakistan in the recently concluded Jakarta summit of the Afro-Asian countries corner the already dreaded peace talks that were inevitably in motion between the 2 countries have been kindled well in order to give a joint proclamation that both the countries will be happy enough if the crisis between them including Kashmir issue end soon in a smooth process. It is high time after lotsa loss of lives and belongings on both the sides due to terrorism across the border that both the countries have shown interest in resorting to the communal harmony between them and at the same time the interests of the nation should also be safeguarded.

Mobiles galore...

It has been a scientific innovation that the world has shrunk into a small cell (phone). It is interesting to find people roaming with a mini blackie in their hands that turn out eventually to be a time-pass, rather wothy time pass that involves a lot of money that is spent from the showroom where it was bought to the maintenance cost including the charging done for. In this new era of technology, there are a wide variety of the mobile phones almost a new variant model is released in every minute, to choose one from them is very hefty. Also the amount that it costs drill a large hole to one's wallet. That's why technology is referred to as an evil disguised in the form of an angel, as it has more side-effects in order to have a good look at it. As u walk out on the roads, u can have a look at the people who are walking as mere zombies with their brain fine-tuned to their mobile phones. Among the accidents that occur, some 25% are accounted to careless driving with the driver busy with his mobile. All these are the drastic changes that the mobile technology has bestowed us upon. God save the mobiles....from us!!!!

Cracking the GATE?

It was nice to hear from some of my friends that the GATE paper was easy this year. It is very nice indeed to have the same speech from all the people that the scoring is also lineant. Some of my friends secured high grades and ranks while some have been skipped off. Anyway it is my sheer bad luck that I had not preferred to take the exam this year and it was my carelessness that I missed a gr8 chance... Let me hope for a still easier paper next time so that when I appear I have a no score less than the 98 percentile(atleast ;) ).Hoping for betterment everytime....

Closing on....

Its high time that the Afro-Asian Summit is held at Jakarta,Indonesia after an end to the long troubling Tsunami threats. Thanks to the organisers for having made the people there to be confident enough of not having another devastation yet to be triggered more. Its also nice to hear our Prime Minister, who has presented a perfect decision about the policies of our country with the neighbours. Its aptly receptive to know about the long sought after peace talks that always go without a positive end that is being fostered well by the heads of both the countries, Indo-Pak relations are really increasingly attractive and is expected to be settled within a few years from now.
Hope it delivers what our President thinks of....a new nation that recreates, rather remodells itself.

Praise the Bard

The great poet/writer of all times, William Shakespeare, is fondly recognised by anyone aware of English Literature. It is his anniversary of birth and death, on the 23rd of April. During his life that spanned for a massively 'short' 52 years, he wrote 37 plays, long poems, sonnets, etc. that include an assorted flavour, from sentiments to bravery, from tragedies to comedies, from romance to histories. It is really a reader's ecstacy that the bard creates while the reader is en tour the writings. Our respectful homages unto him......

Indo-Pak....Gearing towards Peace?!?!

Its nice to have the Pakistan President Mr.Pervez Musharraf visiting India occasionally in terms of political interest developing between Indo-Pak. The recent visit concluded with the heads of both the countries saluting each other as the two countries march towards Peace..'as they call it. Anyway, it is in their hands,to unite or tear apart, as the heads make the decision 'war or peace'. Let us hope and pray for the goodwill of the two nations. The adjoining lands can make a hue and cry among the world nations (as in the Kashmir issue), so it is necessary to guide the nations towards Peace and Prosperity.

Back to the Brass age...

On the advent of Plastics, all the ancient traditional vessels used conventionally for a long era was being demolished unconservatively. Rather, that proved the cause for the non biodegradable quality of plastics that proved fatal in its wide use. Now that the dangerous effects of plastic paved way for a better useful vessel that could be used everywhere without any problems.... the answer came in the form of good ol' Brass. According to the recent research, the 'so-called' 'scientists' have conducted experiments that prove the use of brass - an alloy of copper and zinc, to be used as storage for water. Water stored in brass vessels and earthern pots are useful in fighting against water-borne diseases, viz., diarrhoea,dysentry,jaundice,typhoid,.. Its time we date back to the good ol' days when the diseases were threatened not to enter into the living areas.

Racing circuit in TN - Dream come true?!

It is a hard-earned asset for us that we have got a son of this soil compete with the famous champions like Mike Schumi in the Formula One racing, driving past to become a champion. Recently, during his visit to the Chief Minister of TN, he expressed his idea of developing a racing circuit in TN, for which there was a big positive response from the CM. Through a circuit established/maintained in our state it will be showing an all-round development that is made in our so-called Developing country....yack...call it a Developed one(feels gr8,is'nt it...).Let us all hope at this juncture to the Almighty to bless us all and especially, that yellow coloured beast that our Narain drives, in order to initiate the action of F1 in India.

Nokia......in India......in TN

Its very happy and proud to host the setting up of a new production unit of the mobile handset major, Nokia, which is the first of its kind in India. The production plant, with a very good response from all the people is a new revolution in the government policies. Investing a huge sum in the precincts of the Indian soil solely depends on the confidence and quality we provide. Let us wish the plant fosters brotherhood among the people and thus, help reduce unemployment atleast by some percentage(0.001%), coz by the year 2006, when the plant is set ready to produce, it would cater to the employment of some 2000 people (only).Hope such plants increase in the remote soil of India and cater to the people's needs.......
